Buddy
Thank you to Dr. Klie and the staff at Final Journey for your kindness as I progressed through this awful decision to say goodbye to Buddy. From the first time we spoke (and I know from experience that even getting to making that call is painful enough) everyone was very kind and understanding in helping me to schedule this appointment.
Dr. Klie and Bella arrived at my house right at the scheduled time. Buddy had gotten to a point where he had lost all mobility and he loved this set of blankets that carried both of our scents. They helped me to move Buddy to his blankets where I sat with him in my arms as we began the process of saying good bye. Dr. Klie spoke to Buddy along with me to let him know that he was a good boy and will no longer have to be in pain. After he had drifted off to sleep, they lovingly placed him on a stretcher wrapped in blankets where I kissed him and told him I will love him through all eternity. Bless you all for giving my sweet best friend and heart dog of 13 years, the most loving dignified send off that I could have hoped for.
