Max
Good afternoon Kevin, Dr. Becky, and the Final Journey team.
On June 10, 2025, we had to say good bye to our best boy “Max” after 16 years of unconditional love, joy, and devotion from our Max. Probably one of the most emotional and difficult decisions to endure for our family. However, due to major organ failure it was necessary to embrace the inevitability and a family decision needed to be made with Max’s best interest to avoid prolonging any more pain, discomfort, and suffering our boy had endured.
The decision to was to explore options but one thing was clear, we did not want Max’s last memory to be in a Vet clinical environment and connected with the “Final Journey” team to learn about in-home services and they were extremely empathetic, caring, patient, folks to speak with in a topic that requires a special skillset and delicate balance of soft skills in empathy, care, understanding, while balancing the business side to ensure customers are informed in a transparent manner.
Shortly after a couple of clarifying questions an appointment was made for in-home services. Upon arrival in our home both Kevin and Dr. Becky were extremely professional, caring, factual, understanding, empathetic, and efficient in providing a most humane, dignified, service that honored our family member Max but also allowed us to remain together with our Max in our home as a final goodbye.
Thank you for your outstanding service and all the care you provided to our Max.
Best wishes on your continued success!
