Arya
We recently said goodbye to our beloved elderly German Shepherd, Arya, who was suffering from terminal metastatic bone cancer. It was both an easy and impossible decision.
Years ago, we had a traumatic experience putting down a previous German Shepherd, which made us especially anxious this time. We knew we wanted Arya to be at home, surrounded by the people who loved her most, in a space where she felt safe and calm.
From the very beginning, Final Journey handled everything with deep empathy, grace, and patience. Dr. Becky and her assistant Kevin were not only kind and professional, but also incredibly compassionate. They made us feel supported, informed, and respected at every step.
I never imagined such a heartbreaking moment could feel so peaceful. Final Journey created an environment that was gentle, dignified, and loving — and for that, we are endlessly grateful. They made all the difference. I cannot recommend them enough.
